Scott Alexander
President
Scott is a second-generation healthcare bed sales and service provider with over 30 years of experience in all care settings, delivering, renting, and warehousing. Scott brings experience in manufacturing and rental companies like Equi-tron, KCI, Medic PRN, Global Medical, Carroll Healthcare and Invacare. Scott leverages a large North American Network of relationships and suppliers to source service, products, and solutions. Scott believes the corner stone to any good program is customer service and delivering on expectations and he empowers his employees to support that belief.
Sebastien Hamel
Service Manager
Sebastien is a skilled technician, bringing superior attention to detail to every project at SFI as well as onsite at long-term care facilities. He has a background in plumbing and law enforcement, as well as numerous technical roles, plus 4 years of experience at SFI. He is dependable and welcoming with a positive attitude and ability to tackle a wide range of tasks, from preventative maintenance and audits through repairs and other onsite needs related to beds, lifts, tubs, and much more. Outside of work, Sebastien enjoys playing hockey.
Shannon Paul
Director of Customer Service
Customer service is our main focus at SFI. Shannon brings over 15 years of experience in the medical equipment industry. Having previously worked for Invacare in both Canada and the United States as a Customer Service and Department Trainer, Shannon has extensive experience writing and implementing service processes and procedures, and working with CRM systems from testing through to utilization. Shannon acts as a liaison between our clients, vendors, and SFI’s production team, ensuring the lines of communication remain open. Shannon is deeply committed to ensuring a successful outcome for every client we work with.
Nick Araya
Service Technician
As the newest addition to the technical team, Nick brings 20+ years of industry experience, including a background in communications, copywriting and the cannabis sector. His skills are wide-ranging, making him a key team member in SFI's warehouse and on the road as a technician. When he's not working, Nick enjoys skiing and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Dawson McFadden
Service Technician
As junior technician, Dawson is dedicated to providing top skills in the areas of field service, onsite installations and removals, preventative maintenance and repair services. He always works to make sure every site visit is a smooth experience for the facility. In his spare time, Dawson enjoys hockey and skiing.
Amal Kalathil
Service Technician
With a background in mechanical engineering and an advanced diploma in instrumentation and control engineering, Amal is a skilled technician committed to delivering top-notch service in the areas of troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing of beds, lifts, mattresses, and other equipment. Outside of his work life, Amal is interested in history and enjoys listening to music.
